What Dani does
Dani Draper is a keynote speaker and strategic communications specialist working with leadership teams, conference programmers and organisations on trust, belonging and the human side of change.
Her experience spans strategic partnerships, complex live events, education, emerging technology and community — environments where relationships carry real weight and credibility is earned through how you communicate, follow through and show up.
Dani has worked across rooms where priorities compete, expectations are high and the quality of the relationship can determine what happens next.
Before this came student engagement roles at Monash University, La Trobe University and the International College of Management Sydney, alongside more than twenty-five years of embodiment practice and teaching.
That combination gives Dani a perspective that is both strategic and deeply human.
Why I do this work
The question underneath everything
I have spent much of my career noticing what changes when people feel seen, heard and trusted — and what happens when they do not.
Across education, business, partnerships, emerging technology, live events and embodiment, the pattern has remained remarkably consistent.
People participate differently when trust is present. They speak more openly. They contribute more confidently. They take greater responsibility. They connect differently with the people around them.
I have worked with people across vastly different backgrounds, industries, levels of influence and perspectives. Those experiences have taught me that trust is rarely created by a statement on a wall.
It is built in conversations. In consistency. In how people respond when things become difficult. In whether actions match words. And in the way people experience one another when nobody is performing for the room.
That is the perspective I bring to a stage, a leadership team and every private engagement I take on.
